Candle Safety
When lighting a candle, always place it on a heat-resistant surface and away from flammable materials, keep candles away from vents, fans or drafts. Keep candles out of reach of children and pets, and never leave a burning candle unattended.
Candle Care
Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each use to prevent soot and ensure a clean burn. Avoid burning candles for more than 3-4 hours at a time, and extinguish them using a snuffer to prevent wax splatter, once you do centre and straighten the wick ready for your next burn. Remember to retire your candle when 1/4 inch is left in the container.

Wax Melt Safety
Wax melts should not be warmed longer than 4 hours Place a single wax melt in the well of your electric wax melt warmer or ceramic dish of your wax burner and light a tea light below (unscented) Once the wax is warm, it will melt and spread the fragrance that will fill your indoor space. Always use wax melts in a warmer or burner in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Only burn the wax melt on a level, fire resistant surface, do not over fill the bowl with wax only use 1 wax melt at a time, never put hands or fingers in to the wax bowl when heating as wax can burn, allow to cool when finished using.
Wax Melt Care
Wax melts are sensitive to light and temperature, you can stop your wax melts from melting or cracking by storing them in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. keep the extra wax in there clamshells or back in the sealed packaging dispatched to keep your melts dust free.
